My Grandma Josie passed away last week, quickly and ready for heaven. Though the loss is hard, the comfort is found in her memories. She was tough—a waitress for over 40 years, unafraid of hard work—and full of love. I’ll never forget her sass, her strength, or her tradition of cutting bologna with “fancy scissors” to add to Mac and Cheese. Thank you for the memories, Grandma. As you always said, “I love you lady.”
